As described in one of the earlier pages on the Caribbean stud poker, it is a game played on a blackjack like table. The table, as you perhaps might be aware has seven spots.
All players play against the dealer. Remember, they are not needed to play against one another. The game is driven by poker. Keep in mind the ranking of hands. Once the game picks tempo, players look at their cards.
They then need to decide whether they will fold and forfeit their ante bet or call by making an additional bet. This is twice the size of the ante. Your ante bet would be five dollars and your call bet would be ten dollars if you were playing at a five-dollar table.
Check thoroughly your five cards. Remember, do not share any information about your hand with your rivals or neighbors. You need to decide whether you want to fold or call the dealer. You will need to place a bet equal in size to double it.
Consider various scenarios in Caribbean stud poker game as follows:
• The Player can win if ante - he or she has a higher 5 card poker hand than the Dealers.
• If the Player Raises and the Dealer does not qualify.
• Raise the Player has a higher 5-card poker hand and the Dealer has a minimum of a King.
• Progressive if the Player places $1 in the Jackpot slot, the Player receives a flush or higher. The Player loses if the player folds the dealer qualifies and has a higher 5 card poker hand.
The player loses all bets in case the dealer qualifies with a better hand than the player. On other hand, the player is paid even money on the ante and the following on his call bet if he or she holds a better hand than the dealer.
