Rules
The Roulette wheel uses numbers from 1-36 (and ‘0’ and ‘00’ depending on the variation) that alternate between red and black and there are several different bets that can be made on the Roulette table. You can choose to bet on a single number, a series of numbers (in either columns or rows, or numbers located next to each other on the table), a sequence of numbers, red or black, odd or even, and more. Below are the payouts for each type of bet.

Roulette also comes in two variations: American and European. In European Roulette there is the addition of the ‘0’ spot while in American Roulette there is a ‘0’ and ‘00’ spot, as such American Roulette has slightly higher odds in favour of the house.

Strategy
There are several different, mathematical strategies any player could try using while playing Roulette. They usually involve how you bet, when you should increase and decrease them as well as different patterns to follow when betting. We’ve listed the names and a few details of some of these strategies below.

• The Grand Martingale – Double up and add one extra bet each time you lose. Your aim when using this strategy is to win at least one bet every round.



• The Anti Martingale – Only double your bet when you’re winning.



• The Gland Martingale – This bet involves watching the table for 5 consecutive, even money bets come up (red or black, even or odd, 1-18 or 19-36) before placing a bet.



• Oscar’s Grind Betting System – The goal of this strategy is to bet until a one unit bet has been won by increasing your bet accordingly after wins and losses.



• The Labouchere System – This system involves choosing a string of numbers as a guide to helping you place your bets.



• The D’Alembert System – Add a single bet each time you lose and decrease your bet by one every time you win.



• The Fibonacci System – This strategy involves using all or some of the numbers in the Fibonacci system to help you place your bets.
