Keno is thought to have been invented in China and was introduced to America in the 18 th century by Chinese immigrants. Keno is a game of pure chance and is very similar to a lottery. This is one of the simplest games to start playing and there aren't many rules. All you need to win is a healthy dose of luck. The game consists of numbers 1 – 80 and the object is to guess which numbers will be selected by the Keno machine.. Players can choose how much they wish to bet and between 1 and 10 numbers.
The Keno machine will select 20 numbers randomly and the player has to match as many numbers as possible. The payout will be determined by the number of matches. Just like the lottery, you will need a lot of positive matches for a really big payout.
Just as in the Lottery, there are no strategies for playing Keno. Its all down to luck. There are no tricks that can enhance your chances. The only advice for a beginner is to familiarize yourself with the game before you start wagering a lot of money
The Keno card is separated into two parts; upper and lower or left and right sections. Players can select any numbers from any section of the card. Some players will look for numbers which have come up before as they think these will have more chance of coming up. But all numbers are randomly selected by the Keno machine. |
