One of the leading online casinos, PokerStars.com egged on Chris Moneymaker to earn lot of cash when on the $39 satellite that made him qualify into the main event of the 2003 World Series of Poker. All who even carelessly follow poker are very well aware that he took home the bracelet and $2.5 million.
PokerStars.com is glorifying the man who literally brought poker into the mainstream with a limited-edition silver medallion bearing Moneymaker’s image. It’s the first coin in this year’s series of six that PokerStars.com will produce. The first coin will be given to Moneymaker, and remaining 1,999 coins will be made available to the general public.
To get medallion, you must be on the pokerstars.com website and be a player of the game. These medallions are not open to sale. Every medallion will consist of one ounce of .999 fine silver (99.9 percent pure) and will be numbered. All medallions will be available on a first-come first served basis and will be distributed at random at the site's FPP store.
