Online Gambling Operator Offers Tiger Woods $75 Million

Tiger Woods seems like he may be in some deep financial trouble, after several of his sponsors dropped him due to his multiple sex scandals. However, the golfer assures us that his finances are not in danger, as he has just rejected a $75 million sponsorship deal from Paddy Power.

The Irish online gambling website was certain that Woods would take the bait. The company picked the opportune moment to jump on Woods, as all but a few of his sponsors dropped him, and felt that the deal would have been beneficial for both sides. While Woods would have earned more than his lost income back Paddy Power, the online gambling operator would have certainly earned a name for itself.

Unfortunately, neither of those things will happen, as Wood’s management team has stated that they are not pursuing discussions with any new sponsors.

Paddy Power hopes to try again in the future, and has stated that it is going to make another, more generous offer in the near future. The details of this offer will be kept confidential this time, but we suspect it will be over $90 million.

Other news sources, however, believe that Paddy Power will not follow through. Simply making the exorbitant offer to Tiger Woods during this time was enough publicity to generate a great deal of traffic for the online betting website, and it is believed that it may be a publicity stunt.
